AMAZING Mars Discoveries That SCARED Astronomers

 

  although mars is one of our closest  interstellar neighbors  it's very different from the planet that  we call home in more ways than one  so it's no surprise that we continue to  make creepy discoveries that shock  even the most strong-willed astronomers  this picture was taken on nasa's  curiosity rover and it really makes you  question whether mars is  actually as dead as it appears from home  the photo obviously depicts an object  that looks a lot like  fish with very similar shape to those we  would find back on earth  mars used to be covered in oceans so the  possibility of aquatic life on the  martian soil  is not as far-fetched as it sounds if  mars was able to support small  vertebrates like fish  it may have also been able to host  intelligent life  giving rise to the possibility of  ancient civilizations  spanning across the red earth although  this is just speculation the existence  of something that looks so  similar to familiar life on earth is  enough to raise questions  and creep out astronomers in 2004  nasa's opportunity rover snapped this  interesting picture  a bunch of spherical rocks with a blue  tinge  that resemble a familiar tasty snack to  such an extent  that scientists working on the mission  actually nicknamed them  blueberries it was later determined that  the rocks contained  large quantities of iron and that their  blue tinge is  evidence of contact with water even  though we know these things and have  similar rocks on earth  the way in which these blueberries  formed is still a mystery  the rocks on earth are up to 10 times  the size of those found on mars  but are ordered in a much more chaotic  way than their martian counterparts  which have a much clearer structure  the mystery of how these rocks came to  be adds to the mystery surrounding one  of our closest interstellar neighbors  in 1976 nasa's viking one orbiter took  this eerie image of the martian surface  it doesn't take much imagination to make  out two eyes  a nose and a mouth imprinted on a raised  piece of land  which shares uncanny resemblance to a  human head  the now iconic image has fueled the  imaginations of astronomers in the  decades since  is this proof that humans have been to  mars before  maybe they're still there maybe humans  started off on mars and have since  settled on earth  whatever it is this photo truly  encapsulates the mystery and creepiness  surrounding this foreign world  so far from home and is sure to make  astronomers think twice  before further exploring the surface of  mars  a human on mars in 2007 the spirit rover  captured this mysterious photo  which seems to depict a person in the  distance with their hand  out in front of their body when zoomed  in the figure appears to be made out of  rock which throws a wet blanket on the  theory that it's a picture of a human  but it still leaves some theories intact  some think it could be a statue crafted  by humans in the distant past  or even a sign of alien life on the  martian world  even if it's just a naturally formed  piece of rock  its likeness to humans is uncanny and  raises some creepy questions regarding  our place in the universe  and how alone we really are  another human on mars this picture was  taken by the mars curiosity rover in  2015  and is strikingly similar to the  previous entry on our list  like our last entry this photo also  depicts a person in the distance  complete with what appears to be a torso  and a head  the discovery of a second rock formation  that resembles a person  gives support to some pretty creepy  theories involving intelligent human  life on the martian world  rabbit another addition to the list of  objects that resemble earth-based  species  is this picture of a white object with  what appears to be long ears  giving it a similar appearance to a  rabbit what's more is that the long  ear-like objects were observed to move  in the weak  martian wind which is unusual since the  surface of mars is almost  entirely composed of dust and rocks a  ladder of which is unlikely to move due  to the wind  although dust could easily be blown  around by a light breeze  the subject of this image is certainly  not dust  it is possible that the object could be  just some rare substance  that is not commonly found on mars but  it could also be a sign of life among  the stars  overall it is a pretty creepy object  that's difficult to explain  a cannonball this photo was snapped by  nasa's curiosity rover and depicts an  oddly colored sphere  that looks exactly like a cannonball a  cannonball would be proof of a great war  taking place on the red planet  and also indicate the presence of  intelligent life with the knowledge of  gunpowder or  some other type of advanced explosive  the discovery of intelligent life so  close to home would shatter our  perception of ourselves and provide  evidence that life is abundant across  the universe  not the rarity that it currently appears  to be  nasa's rover team was quick to try to  diffuse these theories  by announcing that the object is less  than a quarter of an inch in size  and made of calcium sulfate sodium and  magnesium  but they didn't explain its incredibly  spherical shape  or how it formed which has left room for  theories and  grounded this discovery as a very creepy  one  fueling the minds of astronomers across  the world  statue of an ancient god this creepy  picture captured by nasa's  opportunity rover shows a rock that  perfectly resembles a carved statue of  some ancient god  similar to those that our ancestors  carved back on earth  in particular the face resembles naboo  the ancient assyrian god of wisdom  if this was truly carved by humans then  it's not only evidence of intelligent  life  existing on multiple planets but it also  indicates  that the religion of the ancient  assyrians was right all along  although some have claimed that this  face is simply the result of a random  rock formation  and convenient lighting its uncanniness  to statues that can still be seen on  earth today  makes this a creepy discovery that is  sure to be a cause  of concern for
